Specsavers Series 12 - 100 Breast & Fly |

Luke Belton and Nicole Hewlett recorded the fastest times of the day in the 100m breaststroke event of the Beau Sejour Barracudas’ Specsavers Series.
Finishing 4 seconds ahead of his nearest rival Belton stormed home in 1.10.79 with Nicole finishing in a very creditable 1.17.92.
In the youngest age group 9 year olds Tatiana Tostevin and Max Lord took the honours finishing in 1.50.98 and 2.06.50 respectively.
In the 10 year age group it was a great win for Anna Cliff for the girls, in a super personal best time by over 8 seconds of 1.49.75. The boy’s title went to Tom Stapley who also improved on his personal best by over 13 seconds. There were some huge personal best times in this age group with second placed Sophie Wilcox improving by over 12 seconds and second placed Jake Lowe powering home in 1.56.51 another lifetime best by over 11 seconds.

Courtney Butcher set a new Championship record in the 100m freestyle event of the Specsavers Series staged by the Beau Sejour Barracudas Swimming Club. Courtney produced a National Age Group Qualifying Time of 59.25 – the first time that she has dipped under the 60 second barrier and fastest time of the day from the girls! This was a lifetime best by nearly 2 seconds and gave her the championship record previously held by Lotte Parfit. Also finishing inside the record was 2nd placed Annalise Munro who touched in great time of 1.02.03. Miles Munro was fastest of the boys taking Jonathon Le Noury’s record to touch in an impressive time of 53.16. |
