Courtney Butcher continued her record breaking form this week recording the fastest time of the day in the 200m freestyle event of the Beau Sejour Barracudas Specsavers Series. Smashing the record in the 14/15 age group by over 4 seconds she produced a personal best by nearly 3 seconds to touch in 2.09.89.

Fastest of the day from the boys came from Miles Munro who took the race out hard from the start and held on to a clear lead to finish in 1.58.07

In the youngest age group 9 year old Tatiana Tostevin looked very strong as she took first place honours in a brilliant time of 3.10.33, with Elliott Lock winning the boys age group in 3.37.22.

Christopher Dufty continues to find his form in freestyle winning the 10 year age group along with Sophie Wilcox recording 2.53.06 and 2.59.68 respectively.

Louis Tostevin and Orla Rabey were the victors for the 11 year olds both finishing within the South East Region qualifying times.

The 12/13 age group saw William Russell place first posting 2.26.09 and Hannah Rosumek a personal best by over 4 seconds to touch in 2.28.34.  Both were swimming at the bottom of the age group.

The boys 14/15 title went to a gritty performance from William Mansell in a personal best of 2.10.61 with the girls 16 and over title going to Nicole Hewlett.

The swimmer showing the greatest improvement in time was 11 year old Sasha Walker who improved on her time by over 31 seconds!
